Pharmaceutical Storage for Sigma Aldrich

Sigma- Aldrich’s purpose is to solve the toughest problems in life science by collaborating with the global scientific community.

Together, they offer a broad portfolio of more than 300,000 products, including many of the most highly respected brands in the industry.

The company were looking to store forty pallets of pharmaceutical product at an elevated temperature. If the product was to drop to or below sixteen degrees in temperature, they would turn to a solid wax state leading to loss of revenue as the materials would become obsolete.

After researching companies that may offer a solution, Eugene Mulholland, Engineering and Process Technology Manager came across the CRS Group online.

“The professionalism and level of knowledge displayed even at the enquiry stage of the process gave us confidence in our selection of company”

Eugene said when asked about the sales process.

After meeting with The CRS Group, work got underway in customising a solution as per the clients specifications. The solution was to be housed outside on site at Sigma Aldrich. When asked if there were any issues with the build, Eugene replied...

“No, not at all. Due to the planning done prior to install and the meetings with the CRS team, everything went to plan and no issues arose”.

“I found the CRS Group to be very professional. They had an excellent validation pack which is imperative to have in the pharmaceutical industry. They delivered what they said they would, and more importantly when they said they would. I have had experience whereby we have been let down with regards due dates. The CRS Group clearly outlined the lead-time on our build and delivered within those set parameters. This was a big plus for me.”

“We here at Sigma Aldrich are delighted with the solution that The CRS Group have provided us with and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to any companies in the pharmaceutical industry”.
